I am a very friendly, easy-going, hard-working person. I want t look for a full-time job after graduation in the dental hygiene field. I've learned about "Accelerated DH practice" and I am very interested in that kind of practice. My participation in the outreach program in Open Cities and the Mobile Dental Clinic has provided me very good experiences . I am eager to to work with people and continue to learn and develop my skills. I am looking to work with the people in the Vietnamese community, who have limited English language skills, so I can translate and talk with them in both languages.

I am a hard-working, responsible and driven individual, whose mission as a dental hygienist will be to provide each patient with comprehensive care while providing a friendly, professional environment.
The following outreach programs, as well as rotations in the various clinics at the Dental School, have enhanced my clinical skills in patient management, local anesthesia and oral hygiene education: the Hibbing Clinic, the Wilder Senior Dental program, the Indian Health Board, Community University Health Care Center, the Longfellow Elementary School Community Outreach Project, and the Mobile Dental Unit.
I have served as President of my class, a representative on the student council as well as the Alumni Board, a student representative on the Dental Hygiene Director Search Committee, and I have also received the Proctor and Gamble Student Excellence Award. These opportunities have allowed me to gain experience in administrative roles as well as become familiar with the challenges of becoming a leader.
I am eager to find a career that will allow me to continue to learn and enhance my skills and work with people who value the field of dentistry as much as I do.
