The beautiful painting on our cover is called "Invocation", which means "the act of calling on God, a god, [etc] for blessing, help, inspiration, support..."  The art is designed to invoke a positive emotional response in its viewers - all its viewers. The artist, Vara Kamin, is also the author of our cover feature, "Fear Stress, and the Well Dental Office". Understanding the interrelatedness of negative emotions and consciously working to create an alternate energy may sound New Age, but a wellness model that encompasses both patients and the dental team is a prescription for a healthier life for all concerned.
