Professional Goals

Transitioning from dental school into the work force would begin as an associate for 1-2 years with the option to buy into a successful comprehensive general dental practice.  I would like to provide services ranging from operative, endo, implant restoration, fixed and rm pros to esthetic work.  During this associate ship period I hope to be working in a practice which will afford me the opportunity to work in a mentorship environment with continual learning opportunities.  Throughout my professional career I will continue to seek educational learning experiences through CE courses, other professional programs, study clubs, and self study to strive to provide the highest quality of care to my patients.  My dental school career afforded me the chance to get involved in my state dental society and volunteer my time within the community, and I plan on continuing this involvement as I transition into my dental career.

Background

Grew up in Brainerd, Minnesota where I graduated high school with a GPA of 4.2.  I then attended the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota and graduated with a BA in Biology, GPA of 3.6 and Magna Cum Laude.  I will next graduate from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in May 2006.  Here I served as our MN ASDA chapter President in 2004/2005 and am currently the student trustee to the Minnesota Dental Associations Board of Trustees. 

I love the outdoors and all the activities it offers, biking, hiking golfing, skiing and more.  I am a dedicated and hard working individual who is willing and loves to continually learn.  I have leadership skills experience and like working together as a team to accomplish goals.
