Give Kids a Smile
Program offers flexible, fun and heartwarming way to serve children in need
Join
the MDA in a growing effort to provide dental care to low-income
children in need. And while you are bringing smiles to the faces of
these children, you will also be helping to collectively bring
attention to the need to fix problems with the state's dental
access policies. Last year, about 2,000 dental volunteers
provided $1.7 million worth of free care to about 6,000 low-income
children! Join us again this year, on Feb. 1 and/or 2.
As
one perennial Give Kids a Smile volunteer, Mary Jo Sogge, C.DA.,
R.D.A., says: “I would dare somebody to try it and then say they
won’t do it again!”
