Plan to Attend Dental Day at the Capitol – Tuesday, February 21

It is time again for Dental Day at the Capitol, the Minnesota Dental Association’s annual legislative event. Realizing the importance of political action for dentistry, more and more dentists from throughout the state are attending each year. They find the day to be rewarding and influential to the political process. Still, we would like to see more participants this year. Please make every effort to attend this upcoming session. Last year, it was crystal clear that our grassroots efforts made a huge difference in passage of our Fair Contracting Legislation. Remember that you do not need to be a policy expert to attend. At the event you will receive detailed briefing materials, advocacy training, and you will hear from government officials, MDA leaders, and lobbyists.

Mark your calendar for Tuesday, February 21, and plan to attend.

Participants will meet at the Kelly Inn in Saint Paul and then head to the Capitol to meet with legislators. Please be there to support our Association and district dental societies. As the saying goes, “Stand up and voice your opinion for your profession, or someone else will.”
