Giving to the Minnesota Dental Foundation

The Minnesota Dental Foundation provides a means for dentists and others to experience the collective power of giving, with an opportunity to invest in the future of dentistry and the future of the people and communities it serves. Dentists have always given their time, energy and services both at home and abroad, and the Foundation provides yet another avenue for giving back to the community.

Donating to the Minnesota Dental Foundation

There are many different ways to give assets to Minnesota Dental Foundation and to other charities, each with their own income and estate tax benefits.  Most charitable gifts can either be made during the donor’s lifetime, which provides an income tax deduction, or they can be made at death, which provides an estate tax deduction.  For gifts to most charities, the income tax deduction is limited to 50% of the donors adjusted gross income.  The estate tax charitable deduction is unlimited.

Here are some of the more common ways to donate.

Current Donors

Currently over 500 donors support the work of the Minnesota Dental Foundation.  Through generous contributions of many members of the dental community, the Foundation is able to fulfill it mission of making a difference in the oral health of underserved populations and enhancing the allied dental professional workforce in Minnesota.
