The MDA Evidence-Based Dentistry Task Force is very pleased to announce that registration is now open for its second educational symposium entitled,
“Practical Research for Clinical Excellence: Be Smarter - Be Better - And Be Part Of The Process!”
You’ve heard the words “evidence-based dentistry,” and maybe you’ve wondered what that has to do with you as a practicing dentist. How and where do you find relevant scientific information that you can understand, trust and actually use to help you determine appropriate treatment options for your patients? And better yet, how can YOU get involved in determining what practical, clinical topics are investigated in the first place?? Register today and learn from your colleagues!
The event will be held on Friday, October 30, 2009 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the University of Minnesota St. Paul Continuing Education & Conference Center. An advance registration fee of $75 includes a continental breakfast, a buffet lunch and an outstanding line-up of speakers.
Moderators will be Minnesota’s own Dr. Gary Anderson, U of M School of Dentistry Director of Evidence-based Dentistry and Director of the Cleft Palate & Craniofacial Anomalies Program, and Dr. Patrick Foy, general dentist and practitioner-investigator. Dr. Foy currently serves on the Executive Committee of a Dental Practice-Based Research Network funded by the NIDCR division of the National Institutes of Health.
The symposium’s Agenda will provide practical information from some high energy speakers. Who knows? You may find yourself seeking ways that you too can be part of the process!
Registration will be limited to 100 people. Participants will be eligible for four continuing dental education credits.
Hope to see you there!
Dr. Gary Anderson
