On January 21, 2012, the Board of Trustees unanimously approved a revised MDA Employee Office Policy manual. The previous manual had not been reviewed or updated since 1999. Some of the changes were necessary from a legal standpoint. Some are directed at creating a uniform set of guidelines for the entire staff.
The Board also unanimously passed a revision of the organizational chart in order to provide cross training and an opportunity for staff member advancement. This reorganization is aimed at increasing staff efficiency and effectiveness in meeting the needs of our association and how it serves its members.
The Board does realize that the recommended changes will take some time for adjustment but strongly believes that they are in the very best interests of the association and its members.
