The Minnesota Dental Political Action Committee (MINDENPAC) works to advance the legislative agenda of the MDA in the state legislature and nationally in the Congress. Over the years, MINDENPAC has worked through the legislative process to:
- Advance the dental profession
- Enhance patient access
- Ensure quality dental care
- Avoid a single payer system
- Fight unwarranted regulations
MINDENPAC is the only political action committee in Minnesota that exists to further these goals. Since its inception nearly three decades ago, MINDENPAC has worked not only to ensure the profession speaks as a unified voice, but to provide us with an influential political presence at our State Capitol.
How MINDENPAC works
MINDENPAC aggressively pursues the election and re-election of candidates for state office who will stand up and support dental professionals on key issues. Through the financial backing of MDA members, MINDENPAC has the resources necessary to deliver our message to those with political influence. Contributions made annually by MDA members are used to support the candidacies of people who are supportive of dental legislation.
How you can get involved
You can get involved by joining hundreds of dentists statewide who agree that MINDENPAC is the best investment you can make to influence our profession’s long term growth. There are opportunities to mingle with leaders in the profession, as well as prominent elected officials. You can sponsor, host or attend MINDENPAC special events. You can contribute financially to an individual political campaign. Or your can make an individual financial contribution.
