Course Description
Dentists dedicate their careers to improving patients’ health, yet many overlook one of their own greatest occupational risks, hearing loss. This engaging presentation explores the science behind noise-induced hearing loss in dentistry, the latest research on occupational exposure, and the long-term effects of chronic noise on communication, cognition, and quality of life. Attendees will learn how common dental equipment contributes to cumulative hearing damage, recognize early warning signs, and discover practical evidence-based strategies to protect their hearing without compromising patient care. Participants will leave with actionable tools to preserve one of their most valuable professional assets – the ability to hear.
