Total Compliance & Education is a series of continuing education programming, by the Minnesota Dental Association, to help members meet regulatory compliance.

MN OSHA Ergonomics Program Coordinator/Industrial Hygienist and Workplace Safety Consultation

This training has been prepared through an alliance with Minnesota OSHA Workplace Safety Consultation to meet the requirements for non-site specific training in the required areas.

The session will cover topics that will provide for interactive and practical learning pertaining to the following topics:

  • Bloodborne Pathogens Standard (29 CFR 1910.1030)
  • Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200)
  • Ionizing Radiation Standard (29 CFR 1910.1096)
  • Exit Routes Standards (29 CFR Subpart E 1910.35, 1910.36, 1910.37, 1910.38 and 1910.39)
  • Electrical Standards (Subpart S – Electrical 29 CFR 1910.301 to 1910.399)
  • OSHA Poster
  • Recording and Reporting Occupational Injuries and Illnesses (29 CFR 1904)

AFTERNOON SESSION

Infection Control

Board of Dentistry Compliance Officer & Infection Control Inspector

As of 2017, the Minnesota Board of Dentistry rules changed to require mandatory training in infection control every biennial renewal cycle for all licensed dental professionals. Deborah will be speaking on Board requirements for training focused on compliance with CDC Guidelines for Infection Control in Dental Healthcare Settings.

This session will cover:

  • Understanding the CDC Guidelines
  • Using the Guidelines in Your Practice
  • Common Errors Found During Inspections

Member dentists and their staff: $75 per person
